DAIMON BASILE-GOTO (BA/LLB)

Managing Director

Daimon Basile-Goto is the founder and Executive Director of the WA GROUP and Principal Consultant at WA Consulting, a member company of the WA Group of companies.

In this role with WA Consulting, Daimon consults and advises on commercial / legal / compliance matters spanning across multiple industries including, but not limited to retail, healthcare, technology and industrial/commercial waste.

Having worked as an Associate Lawyer at Minter Ellison’s Melbourne Office, one of Asia Pacific's pre-eminent law firms, Daimon's strategy towards commercial advice is 'holistic' in nature allowing clients to assess and comprehend, not only the legal risk, but how such legal risks apply in their specific commercial field.

His previous experience also allows him to guides his clients through engagement of law firms when they are required for transactional and litigious matters.

Daimon is the Executive Director of the WA Group, a retail group which owns and operate numerous retail food outlets through out the Greater Melbourne Metropolitan Area. His role within the company is to headline and lead the strategic growth at the national level.

Daimon graduated from Monash University in 2008 with a Double Degree in Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws.

MIZUKI HOYANO (BIR)

Director (Food & Beverage)

Mizuki Hoyano was appointed as Director (Food & Beverage) for the WA Group in 2022. She is responsible for the overall design, direction and implementation of the menu and operations for all of WA Group’s retail stores.

Prior to this role, Mizuki was the Area Manager in charge of both No 18 Ramen St Kilda and XWORD (both companies under the WA Group umbrella). Mizuki also has prior experience leading the kitchen operations at one of Melbourne most established Japanese restaurants and together with her prior experience in Japan, brings over a decade of industry leading experience to the WA Group.

Mizuki graduated from the University of Shizuoka on 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in International Relations.
